A note from Tina SeeligFor the past 20 years, my role has been to help people enhance their creativity and to hone an entrepreneurial mindset in order to see and seize opportunities. Along with my colleagues in the Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program, Stanford Technology Ventures Program and Stanford d.school, I teach people how to identify problems, challenge assumptions, and reframe problems; and how to harness a wide range of factors— both inside themselves and in the outside world—that amplify their ability to bring breakthrough ideas to fruition.
I firmly believe that innovation and entrepreneurship can be taught, and that the associated knowledge, skills, and attitudes help anyone chart a path toward the life they want to lead. No matter what role you play, these tools are the keys to solving problems, from small challenges that face each of us every day to looming world crises that require the attention and efforts of the entire planet. Through my classes, lectures, books, and workshops for students, educators, and business leaders, I strive to create experiences that unleash our collective entrepreneurial potential. |
